ABOUT L2PASS SWAP

Cross-chain and private swaps with L2Pass

L2Pass Swap is an interface for comparing cross-chain token swap routes. Its RFQ and private routes use NEAR Intents. Choose a route for your token pair, review the estimated amount received and fees, and follow the instructions to complete your swap.

Supported networks

Choose from the networks in the L2Pass Swap catalog. Available tokens and routes vary by network and current provider support.

Compare routes for your swap

L2Pass Swap compares available routes from NEAR Intents, native bridges such as Circle CCTP and USDT0, and aggregators and intent networks including LI.FI, Relay, Aori and OKX. Availability depends on the selected assets, networks, liquidity and provider support.

Understand the fees

Fees vary by route; review the quote before confirming. Platform fees, routing-provider fees and network gas are different costs. Review the quoted output, fee details and any source-chain gas requirements for your selected route.

What is a private swap?

L2Pass Private routes use NEAR Intents and are designed to limit public visibility of parts of swap execution. A private swap does not make your wallet anonymous or hide every transaction detail. Deposits and withdrawals may be visible on public blockchains, and provider compliance checks still apply.

Frequently asked questions

Does L2Pass Swap use NEAR Intents?

Yes. L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private routes use NEAR Intents. Other routing providers may also offer quotes for your selected pair.

Can I bridge the same token between chains?

You can request same-asset transfers as well as swaps between different assets. Available routes depend on the token pair and networks you select.

What fees apply?

Fees vary by route; review the quote before confirming. Platform fees, routing-provider fees and network gas may apply. The selected route shows the quoted output and available fee details.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

Some routes require a connected wallet. When an RFQ or private route offers a deposit address, follow its instructions to send from a compatible wallet and provide the required recipient and refund addresses.

How long does a swap take?

Timing depends on the route, network confirmations and provider processing. Review the estimated time on your quote; it is an estimate, not a completion guarantee.

What happens if a swap fails?

Recovery depends on the provider and execution stage. A transaction may revert, require a follow-up action or enter a refund process. Network or provider fees may still apply. Follow the swap status and the selected provider’s instructions.

Are private swaps anonymous?

No. Private routes are designed to limit visibility of parts of execution, but public-chain activity and provider records may still identify a transaction. Providers may apply compliance screening or request additional information.
